Say what?

One of the most important things about writing fanfiction is getting the dialogue just right. It's not only about characterization and getting the characters' voices down on paper, but also phrasing it correctly without using dialogue tags. Sometimes, the way words are spoken say so much more than they seem to and it's difficult to convey that through written words.

The Committee decided the Awards would be a great opportunity place this kind of excellent writing in the spotlight.

Best Dialogue

Nominations in this category can be works of any length, genre or rating. The work is being judged on the quality of the dialogue, not necessarily on the work as a whole.

She knows she loves him. But can she risk it? A series of scenes 'not' seen, and extensions of scenes through the episode Threads . . . how it should have been.

Sam's home on some leave but Jack can't seem to take his eyes of her hair. Something's different and it's very distracting.

My second attempt at a prompt fic, with the prompt, 'WAIT! Don't touch the white ones'

A series of one-shots between season 1 and 8 of how Sam and Jack got from "You'll like me when you get to know me" to "It's complicated". Sam/Jack with a hint of Sam/Pete in one chapter. Written for Valenship 2013 for the GW Shipper family, inspired by the songs from Hunter Hayes' debut album.

That's it! All the nominations for Best Dialogue are listed above. All you need to do is read and rank them to vote for the Sam & Jack Multimedia Awards!
